Mindy Ruben is the founder, owner & creator of Mindy’s Yummy Sauces, a Michigan-based gluten-free & dairy-free cooking sauce & salad dressing company that boasts clean labels and a variety of uses. Entrepreneur Ruben launched Mindy’s Yummy Sauces in October of 2018 with the success of Sesame, Sesame, her flagship sauce followed by her other 2 sauces Honey Mustard & Smoky Chipotle that can be used on everything from beef, chicken & fish to tofu, salads and quinoa. Ruben, who has an M.B.A. in Marketing, is also a branding, marketing & advertising expert and has owned her own marketing agency for the past 30 years.

Mindy’s interest in combining her marketing expertise with her passion for cooking led her to market her delicious sauces to local Michigan markets giving gluten-free, & dairy-free customers a healthy cooking sauce & dressing that is versatile for any food. “When my kids were growing up, I loved to cook for my family. I was pretty disappointed with most store-bought sauces because they all tasted garlicky, salty and commonplace. So instead, I would literally stand between my pantry and my refrigerator and close my eyes, imagining ingredients in my refrigerator and my pantry mixing together in a bowl. I really liked combining flavors, thinking long and hard about what worked best with what I was serving, while still creating unique flavors. My family was usually very pleased with my concotions and my kids and husband would say, ‘remember how you made this because I want this again.’”

Years later, her youngest and soon-to-be college-bound daughter encouraged Ruben to take her sauces on the road. The new venture allowed her to combine her two passions — cooking and marketing.

Designed with good health in mind, Mindy’s Yummy Sauces is low in sugar, has zero trans fat and is a reflection of Ruben’s own healthy lifestyle of clean eating & exercise.
